(November 30, 2017 – Hong Kong) The long-anticipated news from the world-renowned Michelin Guide Hong Kong & Macau 2018 has officially been released. Ying Jee Club, one of the members of ZS Hospitality Group, has been awarded a Michelin Star just after three months of operation, and is the first amongst the seven restaurants of ZS Hospitality Group to receive a Michelin Star recognition.

The name, Ying Jee Club, symbolises prosperity, success and business in Chinese. Debuting in this August, Ying Jee Club epitomises the highest standard of excellence in Cantonese cuisine by sourcing only the best and natural ingredients. Under the culinary leadership of highly acclaimed Chinese Executive Chef Siu Hin Chi, the extensive menu exemplifies traditional Cantonese favourites in its refinement, intricacy and elegance. Chef Siu expresses his sincere gratitude and appreciation to the Michelin Guide and all the supporters, he added: “We are absolutely thrilled that Ying Jee Club has been recognised with a coveted star from Michelin in our very first three months of operation. Overlooking the central business district on Connaught Road, the stylish, two-storey Ying Jee Club, is sculpted by famed architect, founder of SLD, Steve Leung and his design director Janet Choy. The graceful setting is accentuated by an emerald green backdrop, exuding a calming energy. This jewel tone is paired together with recurrent golden highlights, further creating a stunning contrast with the subtle wooden panel floor and orchestrating a wonderful ambience.

Ying Jee Club has seating for 105 guests from the grand dining hall to semi-cosy zones to four enclosed private dining rooms. The elegant restaurant resembles Hong Kong’s diversity and capability to cater for a spectrum of occasions and people.
